Step 1: Write Essay. Step 2: ???. Step 3: Profit!

Via our friends at the Competition Law Association we are pleased to announce this year’s Golding Essay Prize Competition.

The competition is open to students, trainee solicitors, pupil barristers, or devil barristers (from Scotland) who are not yet qualified lawyers, and to any trainee patent and/or trade mark attorney who is not yet qualified.  The winner will receive a prize of £1000.

This year’s topic is:

“Should genetic information be patentable and, if so, when?”

The closing date for submissions is 29 February 2012.

Full details of the competition are available in the document below, or via the CLA website.
