As many of you may know, every year the IPT (Intellectual Property Trainees) Ball is held in July in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. The event is themed, with previous themes including “Around the World in 80 Days”, “The Golden Age of Hollywood”, and last year’s “Arabian Nights”.
The event is popular with patent and trade mark trainees and qualified alike. However, it cannot happen without lovely volunteers to help organise it. Being on the organising committee is a great opportunity to meet people in the profession whilst raising money for a worthy cause. It is a fun experience and you get a free ticket to the event itself too.
If you would like to be on the IPT Ball 2014 organising committee, please send an email to Kirwin at email@example.com. We will be having a meeting at the CIPA hall on 24 October at 6 pm which we will allocate roles, although you can still get involved if you can’t make that meeting. It is not necessary to be based in London to be on the committee.
