Informals’ Foundation and EQE Lectures 2015

As many of you may know, the Informals’ Committee run a series of lectures each year to introduce trainees to key issues in IP and to prepare trainees for exams.

The 2015 Informals’ Foundation Lectures begin on Monday 12 January 2015 at 5.30pm, CIPA Hall. The introductory lecture will be given by Gwilym Roberts (Kilburn & Strode) and Stuart Forrest (Carpmaels & Ransford). In addition, recordings and notes will be made available on the CIPA website shortly after the lecture (http://www.cipa.org.uk/pages/informals). The Foundation Lectures are a great way for new trainees to learn more about patents, and also to meet trainees at other firms. Attendees are welcome to join the lecturer and organisers for drinks in the pub afterwards.
Trainees preparing for the EQEs may be interested in the 2015 Informals’ EQE Lectures, which will also begin in January. These will likely be webinar-based lectures that take place over lunchtimes. Typically, each webinar will focus on a specific exam paper from a previous year. Keep an eye on the blog for more details.
